About Asha-Jyothi and PBCC Pink Pathways: Beyond the Ribbon
Inspired By Passion. Driven By Compassion
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime and more than 4 million survivors are currently living in the United States.
A team of motivated students, from Asha Jyothi PA, is proudly collaborating with the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition to raise funds for the PBCC’s Friends Like Me Campaign.
The PBCC is dedicated to promoting early detection, advancing breast cancer research, supporting patients, and advocating for legislative change. They have raised over $6.6 million for research and have recently eliminated all out-of-pocket costs for breast cancer diagnostics.
Through its Friends Like Me Campaign, the PBCC connects newly diagnosed breast cancer patients with survivors who provide empathy and hope by sharing their own experiences.
As one of the PBCC's grassroots partners, AJ-PA is committed to expanding awareness and supporting patients across Pennsylvania. In recognition of these efforts for several years, our team was honored to receive the 2026 Mid Penn Bank Shining Light Award for community impact and leadership.
Every donation received helps fund research, provide patient support, and bring more hope to affected families, allowing the inspirational community of more than 4 million survivors to continue to grow.
